This presentation is on the introduction of an environmentally friendly and future-oriented wastewater technology as part of the expansion of the Kremnica production facility in Slovakia, in particular electroplating. The objective was, on one hand from an environmental point of view, the establishment of a completely wastewater-free production for electroplating as well as surface treatment, and on the other hand also a simplification of the accompanying approval procedure.
With the completion of the procedure, Monea became the first and only company in the industry to be a completely wastewater-free producer of coin blanks.
