Tour

Tour of Imprensa Nacional  Casa da Moeda (INCM) and Valora

Following the conference on Thursday 31 of October we are privileged to offer a tour for government delegates to INCM, with the opportunity to be on the production floor and see the latest techniques in secure and sustainable production for both coins and secure documents.

Following the tour to INCM we are also able to visit VALORA, S.A. the banknote printing company that is fully owned by the Banco de Portugal. It has operated at the Banco de Portugal’s premises in Carregado since 1999, the year it started production. VALORA produces the share of euro banknotes allocated to the Banco de Portugal.

The tours are restricted to central banks and government issuing authorities; numbers are strictly limited, so please register your interest as early as possible by contacting Hannah Shildrake ([email protected]). Further details and timings will be provided nearer the time.

The tour delegates are subject to review by INCM and Banco de Portugal.
