Terms & Conditions

• Reconnaissance reserve the right to postpone, amend or otherwise change the location, dates and content of the conference, in which case we  will notify all participants as soon as possible.
• In the event of cancellation, Reconnaissance will endeavour to inform all participants as soon as possible. All event fees paid will be reimbursed in full. We will not accept liability for any consequential loss and shall have no liability to reimburse any other costs that may have been incurred, including transport costs, accommodation etc.
• Conference sponsorships and exhibits will be final and reserved on receipt of full payment. All sponsor and exhibitor payments are non-refundable, unless the event is cancelled.
• Conference delegates will pay their fees at the time of booking. Delegates paying their fees at the time of the conference will incur an additional administration fee.
• Conference delegate fees will be refunded less a 25% handling charge if a cancellation is received in writing by Reconnaissance  six weeks or more before the start of the event. After this date no refunds will be made. The only exception to this policy is that a full refund will be made if the delegate provides an original document from the competent authorities refusing the delegate a visa or other legally required travel document, and only then provided that the delegate has applied for the visa in reasonable time.
• No-shows will still be liable for full payment of their fees.
• If any potential delegates, speakers or sponsors owe any fees to Reconnaissance relating to previous events (eg. no-shows) or other services, then their registration will not be confirmed and they will not be able to attend the event until any such debt has been cleared.
• Substitutions of delegates from the same organisation can be made at any time by notifying Reconnaissance in writing.
• All costs incurred (which are not part of the services offered by Reconnaissance  or our agents) by sponsors, exhibitors and delegates as a result of their attendance at a conference are their responsibility and not Reconnaissance.

• Payment for sponsorship and exhibiting can be made via bank transfer. Delegate fees can be paid by credit or debit card.
• All payments will be in the currency shown on this site.
• Registration will only be confirmed on receipt of payment.

 

CODE OF CONDUCT

 

All delegates, speakers and sponsors are requested to adhere to our code of conduct, which will be enforced throughout the event and is designed to help ensure a safe environment for everyone.

 

Reconnaissance is dedicated to providing a respectful and harassment-free conference experience for all attendees and staff, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), or technology choices. We do not tolerate abuse or harassment of conference participants or staff in any form. Hostile/inappropriate/offensive/crude language and imagery are not allowed at any conference venue, including  workshops, social events, tours, and online media.

 

Participants violating this code of conduct may be sanctioned or expelled from the conference without a refund at the discretion of Reconnaissance, and may further be barred from attending future conferences
